- To make a diaper animal, start by rolling up diapers individually, using little clear elastics to secure them.
- Once you’ve rolled up the diapers, group them together into various shapes such as circles or squares, and secure those shapes using string or ribbon.
- Then stack or otherwise combine the shapes to create the final character you want.
Tips:
- Create your diaper animal on top of a cardboard cake base so the shape doesn’t distort whenever you need to move it.
- Use baby items to decorate the animal such as soothers, toys, hats, and socks, and consider rolling washcloths and receiving blankets to create portions of the animal.
- Keep the empty diaper boxes, and pass them on to the mom-to-be so that she has something to store the diapers in after she takes the animal apart.
