I love a good non-alcoholic mocktail, don’t you?
Look, I love a good alcoholic drink, too. However, these days, mocktails are all the rage. They are popping up on restaurant menus every time I check. The same is true for weddings. Guests will be way more excited about a virgin mojito than they will a lemonade, don’t you think? There is definitely a demand for mocktail recipes out there.
I promise you that creating non-alcoholic mocktail recipes for your wedding doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, it can be kept quite simple. The key is to have some crucial ingredients, fun garnishes, and a fancy glass (if you want). If you’re properly prepared with these things, your guests will surely enjoy delicious drinks, and you won’t have to pay for the booze.
Non-Alcoholic Mocktail Recipes For Your Wedding
This post is going to share with you non-alcoholic mocktail recipes your wedding guests will love. In most cases, the mocktail recipes were inspired by another source. I’ve linked back to the originals, if you want to check them out. I took inspiration from various places, and tried to tweak them to create drink recipes that are easy and delicious.
Cheers! Let’s get into it!
THE CASE FOR MOCKTAILS
Let’s pause for a moment and talk about non-alcoholic mocktails. I mean, why would you even want to have them at your wedding?
Well, I’ll share with you the reasons why mocktails may be right for your wedding.
- Mocktails are more cost effective than co*cktails, and are still crowd pleasers.
- Non-alcoholic drinks are delicious. And, guests can safely drink more of them.
- Mocktails are great for weddings with a lot of kids or teenagers in attendance.
- Serving alcohol can come with restrictions. Most venues don’t have any restrictions when it comes to serving mocktails.
- Non-alcoholic mocktails are a safe choice to serve guests, if you’re unsure about serving alcohol at all.
- Mocktails are a lot of fun. No, guests won’t be buzzed from them, but they will feel fancy enjoying them. I can promise you that!
My suggestion? If you want to have a wedding that only serves non-alcoholic mocktails, go for it. And, if you still want the booze, but want some other options, add in a few mocktails for fun.
SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR WEDDING MOCKTAILS
Before I share mocktail recipes, let’s talk about some supplies you may need. I don’t want to make this complicated, so let’s keep it simple. The supplies will vary based on the kind of mocktails you’re serving, but the sentiment remains the same no matter what.
Here’s what you should look into having available, if you’re serving mocktails at your wedding:
- Fancy glasses that match the drink that is being served.
- Garnishes that will make the mocktail more appealing, and may even add flavor or a hint as to what is in the drink.
- Napkins and stirring straws.
- The ingredients for the drinks.
- Fresh juice, whenever possible, if the drink calls for it.
- Serving vessel, if the drinks are being made in a batch and then poured out of one container.

NON-ALCOHOLIC MAI TAI
There is something so tropical and pretty about a mai tai. Personally, I think this is one of those perfect non-alcoholic mocktail recipes that would work best at a beach themed wedding. Or, any wedding that has an ocean feel to it.
By the way, mai tai’s are served in a variety of glasses. Some may even resemble jars, or have fun designs on them. Use your imagination with this one, and don’t be afraid to add an umbrella.
- 3 oz fresh orange juice
- 3 oz fresh pineapple juice
- Dash of grenadine
- Dash of orgeat syrup
- Cherries
- Pineapple chunks
- Ice
Put all ingredients in a shaker, add ice. Shake well. Strain into a glass, drizzle with grenadine on the top. Garnish with cherry and pineapple.

NON-ALCOHOLIC BLUEBERRY MOJITOS
Personally, I love a non-alcoholic mojito. They are crisp, they are fun. I enjoy the tartness of them, and the sweetness. I think that a mojito mocktail would be very popular at a warm, summer-time wedding. If you serve it in a tall, thin glass, even better.
Not into blueberry? Just skip that ingredient and follow the instructions without it.
- Small handful mint leaves
- Small handful blueberries
- 2 oz lime juice
- 2 oz simple syrup
- Splash
Slightly muddle the blueberries, add the rest of the ingredients and ice in a shaker. Shake and serve.

NON-ALCOHOLIC MARGARITAS
Who doesn’t love a margarita? I think a non-alcoholic margarita would be popular any time of year, but especially around a May wedding.
This recipe is for a non-blended margarita. If you want to blend it, go ahead. Also, the salt is optional. Not everyone likes it with their margaritas.
- Flaky salt
- Lime wedges
- Ice
- 1.5 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz fresh orange juice
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp agave nectar
- Sparkling water
Run a lime wedge around the glass and dipping into a plate of salt. Fill glass with ice. Shake lime juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and agave together. Pour into the glass, top with sparkling, and garnish.

NON-ALCOHOLIC GIMLET
There is something so classy about a vodka or gin gimlet. I mean it. They make me think of Mad Men, and I see them as a throw back drink. For this virgin gimlet, serve it in coupe, or rounded, co*cktail glass, with a stem. It will be super fancy and fun.
- 1.5 oz sparkling water
- Muddled cucumber
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
Add cucumber, lime juice, and simple syrup to a shaker. Top with sparkling water. Garnish how you’d like.

ROSEMARY BLUEBERRY SMASH
