Could I make this recipe using other jello flavors?

-Lemon
-Strawberry
-Black Cherry
-Grape

Can I use instant pudding instead of cook and serve?

This particular recipe only works with cook and serve pudding mix.

It will not work with instant. It will have a hard time solidifying if you use instant pudding mix. It will have a totally different texture.

If you are looking for a recipe that calls for Instant Pudding mix, we recommend trying our Snicker’s Trifle.

That’s why we have created a Youtube Channel

Looks delicious but would this work with a sweetener instead of the sugar? I'm thinking granulated Stevia.

  2. Diane N says:

I know exactly what you mean about the sound of a bomb exploding. Been there done that, only I was at work and I was cooking for 20 hungry men ten minutes before they were to come in for lunch. I had just taken the casserole out of the oven and set it on top of the stove, I thought I'd quickly run to the laundry to fold some tea towels and luckily I was just out of the room when that happened. Terrifying to say the least, but a moment to remember. Love your blog...

    I am so making this!!!!

  4. Becky Lucas says:

Equally as good with lime or raspberry or strawberry jello instead of orange !

  5. Linda says:

The instructions read *remove from oven* it should say stove or burner, you don't bake it in the oven. This is a great item to take to a potluck

  6. Cyd says:

Hi Felicity. We haven't used a sugar substitute or sweetener in place of sugar in this recipe. So not sure how it would turn out.

  7. Cyd says:

Thanks Linda for finding that error. We fixed the post. Stove top is correct! :)

  8. Kayla says:

I followed this recipe to a "T" and even after a full 24hrs to set it never set up and was very runny/watery? Tastes good but not the texture its supposed to be. Anyone else had this happen??

  9. Cyd says:

We have never had a problem with this setting up. Was your lemon pudding "cook and serve"? Instant pudding will not work with this recipe.
